More info
Traxxas Big Bore Shocks are a direct upgrade for Traxxas models that need improved bump handling and jump control. These shocks use hard-anodized aluminum bodies, PTFE-coated bores and titanium nitride (TiN) coated shafts to cut internal friction and deliver consistent, long-lasting damping. The kit is ready to install and ships with the shock oil and hardware you need to tune ride height and spring response.
Key Features
- Hard-anodized aluminum bodies for corrosion resistance and improved heat handling under heavy use.
- PTFE-coated shock bores that provide near-frictionless movement for more sensitive small-bump response.
- Titanium nitride (TiN) coated shafts to reduce wear and keep seals sliding smoothly over time.
- Near-frictionless operation that helps maintain consistent damping through repeated hits and long runs.
- Ultra-smooth damping for better control on landings and over rough terrain.
- All-inclusive kit contains 30-weight shock oil, ride-height spacers, and progressive-rate springs intended for 2WD Slash models.
- Sold as a four-shock set to replace or upgrade stock dampers and improve overall suspension performance.
What's Included
- Aluminum Big Bore Shocks (4)
- 30-weight shock oil

About the Brand

Awesome Shocks for Slash 4x4
Swapped out the stock shocks for these and wow, they are amazing!!! You can really feel how much better the performance and handling are now!!! They go great with the Traxxas 6898 Sway Bar Kit for the Slash 4x4!!! I totally recommend getting both. There's a video I found that shows you how to install these new shocks.I thought about trying other brands like Pro-Line Racing, but you'd end up replacing more parts and it gets expensive. Plus, the quality and durability aren't as good as brands like RPM and Traxxas. These shocks are basically plug & play. Hope this helps. Have a great day & God bless!!!
