Got this for our backyard track, which is kinda small. On open tracks, my Slash 4x4 can hit higher speeds, but here, the motor and ESC were working too hard with the stock pinion.Swapped it in my Slash and saw a 20-degree heat drop. Now, no matter how much I push it, the motor stays below 135 and the esc stays under 125 (using 7.2v and 8.4v nimh).Haven't tried a lipo yet, so dont know how that'll turn out, but this pinion is awesome for slowing the vehicle down while giving way better acceleration and instant power around corners.
