More info
The Traxxas XRT brings race-inspired design together with X-Maxx power and strength in an all-new X-Truck platform. It’s built for extreme 8S power and speed, with sharp response, a wide planted stance, and the kind of confident feel that comes through when the surface turns loose and the truck still keeps driving.
Traxxas XRT is equipped with a VXL-8s waterproof electronic speed control, a Velineon 1200XL brushless motor, and Traxxas Stability Management for added control on low-traction surfaces. The full-time shaft-driven 4WD driveline, sealed hardened steel bevel limited-slip differentials, WideMaxx suspension, and GTX aluminum shocks give it a serious hardware list from front to rear.
- VXL-8s waterproof electronic speed control with an aggressive tune, integrated cooling fan, machined heat sink, powered accessory ports, 3-LED status indicators, integrated protection circuits, and 10-gauge silicone wire.
- Velineon 1200XL brushless motor with 1275 Kv, 5 mm output shaft, oversize aluminum heatsink, and dual cooling fans.
- Up to 60+ mph with two 4S LiPo batteries and optional gearing.
- Traxxas Stability Management helps with straight-line acceleration and braking on low-traction surfaces, with adjustment from off to 100% through the transmitter.
- TQi 2.4 GHz high output radio system with a 2-channel transmitter, 5-channel micro receiver, fail-safe security, telemetry ports, programmable Multi-Function knob, dual rates, and exponential adjustment.
- X-Truck driveline uses full-time shaft-driven 4-wheel drive, heavy-duty steel CV driveshafts and axles, a splined aluminum center driveshaft, and machined aluminum stub axles.
- Transmission includes Mod-1 pinion and spur gears, a fixed gear mesh system, and a Torque-Biasing Center Drive.
- X-Truck differentials use a heavy-duty sealed 4-gear design, large steel ring and pinion gears, splined outdrives with an external thru-bolt method, and new bulkhead covers for added bearing support.
- Rock-solid motor mounting system keeps gear mesh set with 4 keyed pins and separates motor retention from mesh adjustment.
- GTX shocks feature machined aluminum threaded bodies, extra-large bore capacity, 5.2 mm damper shafts, integrated wiper seals, height-adjustable spring retainers, composite shock caps with pivot balls, and bolted-on lower spring perches.
- WideMaxx suspension uses performance-optimized geometry, extra-wide arms, double-shear connections, steel suspension pins with retainers, 4 mm machined pivot balls, fixed camber and toe links, heavy-duty steering blocks and axle carriers, and oversized wheel bearings.
- Steering uses a 365 oz-in waterproof servo, a cam-style servo saver, and dirt evacuation channels.
- Ultra-low-CG chassis uses a modular layout with interlocking bulkheads, a flat bottom, interlocking skid plates, high-strength buttressing on the shock towers, dual snap-lock battery compartments, and clean wire management.
- Clipless body snaps in place quickly, uses secure latches, and adds a rigid internal frame, dual high-capacity cooling ducts, molded reinforcements, top skids, and a high-downforce rear wing.
- Heavy-duty bumpers and side protection include a reinforced front bumper, rear wing support, nerf bars, and a wheelie bar with carry handle.
- 7.4-inch Gravix race tires use a low sidewall, thick center carcass to resist ballooning, and lower rotational mass, mounted on 3.8-inch matte black XRT wheels with high-strength glue and bead design.
- 24 mm splined wheel hubs, sealed ball bearings, and hex hardware with rust-resistant black oxide coating round out the package.
The result is a truck that feels composed at speed, with waterproof electronics that help keep it going in wet conditions and a low-CG chassis that supports its planted attitude. The clipless body, wide suspension, and full-size driveline hardware bring together easy, confident handling with the kind of high-power control the XRT platform is known for.
