The Traxxas Digital High-Torque Coreless Servo is the part that turns your vehicle's steering. It combines maximum steering authority with a long list of high-performance features. Traxxas High-Torque servos are the perfect upgrade for high-demand applications like Unlimited Desert Racer, Slash and Stampede. They also suit almost any 1/10 Traxxas vehicle requiring extreme performance.
The servo has a powerful motor for the most demanding applications. With over 2.5 times more torque than the standard #2075 servo, it gives noticeably faster turning speed. The gear train is all metal gears with bearing support, plus dual ball bearings. The case is plastic top and bottom with an anodized aluminum center section for added heat dissipation. The servo is fully waterproof, not just “water resistant”. That gives you the freedom to run when you want, where you want. You can power through streams and bogs without fear while trucks with “water resistant” servos are stuck on the sidelines.

The servo is compatible with Traxxas Stability Management™ (TSM) and works great with TSM™ equipped vehicles. It can replace the E-Revo's dual servos with a single servo for lighter weight, more torque, and lightning-quick steering response. For the TRX-4, it is a huge power upgrade.
When you install this servo in the TRX-4, you are required to use the High-Voltage BEC kit (TRA2262). The BEC kit is a separate item from the servo. Installing the BEC is easy with plug and play simplicity. Its larger receiver box cover maintains total waterproof integrity. The kit also includes a Y harness for vehicles with LED light kits.
A steel servo horn (TRA8247X) is recommended for the TRX-4. Traxxas nitro models are compatible when you use rechargeable 5-cell battery packs. Not recommended for the X-Maxx.
This servo isn't cheap, but it's awesome! Way more powerful than the stock servos in the Traxxas TRX-4, Rustler 4X4, etc. The control from the transmitter to the wheel angle is spot on, only changing when you want it to. Unlike older 'powerful' servos that resist when off, these 'coreless' ones are easy to move. But, once you switch them on, they hold the wheels like they're in a vice.
