The Traxxas Digital High-Torque Coreless Servo is a steering servo that turns your vehicle's wheels when you steer. It is an upgrade for high-demand applications on almost any 1/10 Traxxas vehicle that needs extreme performance. You get over 2.5 times more torque than the standard #2075 servo, plus noticeably faster turning speed.
A powerful motor provides 330 oz-in of torque at 6.0 volts for the most demanding applications. At 7.4 volts, torque rises to 439 oz-in.
A coreless motor sits at the heart of the servo. Full metal gears with bearing support make up the gear train, and dual ball bearings are fitted. The case is plastic top and bottom with an anodized aluminum center. That center section adds heat dissipation.
The servo is fully waterproof, not just "water resistant". Being completely waterproof gives you the freedom to run when you want, where you want. You can power through streams and bogs without fear while trucks with "water resistant" servos are stuck on the sidelines.
It drops into most 1/10 Traxxas vehicles for a perfect factory fit. Compatible with Traxxas Stability Management™ (TSM), it works great with TSM™ equipped vehicles.

The servo is a huge power upgrade for the TRX-4. When you install it in the TRX-4, you are required to use the High-Voltage BEC kit (TRA2262). A steel servo horn (TRA8247X) is recommended for the TRX-4 installation.
Installing the BEC is easy with plug and play simplicity. The High-Voltage BEC kit includes a larger receiver box cover to maintain total waterproof integrity. It also includes a Y harness for vehicles with LED light kits.
The servo is compatible with Traxxas nitro models using rechargeable 5-cell battery packs. It is not recommended for the X-Maxx.
This servo isn't cheap, but it's awesome! Way more powerful than the stock servos in the Traxxas TRX-4, Rustler 4X4, etc. The control from the transmitter to the wheel angle is spot on, only changing when you want it to. Unlike older 'powerful' servos that resist when off, these 'coreless' ones are easy to move. But, once you switch them on, they hold the wheels like they're in a vice.
