The Traxxas Stinger 20-Turn Brushed Motor is a mild modified motor for your RC car. Powerful, it runs 30% faster than typical stock motors and gives a lot of speed.
The motor comes in a 540 can and weighs 5.12 ounces (145 g). A single thickness of wire is wound 20 times around the armature, giving the perfect blend of speed and torque.
The fewer times the wire is wound, the faster the motor will go. Wire thickness around the armature determines how much torque the motor puts out. A 20-turn double would provide more torque than this 20-turn single.
This motor fits the Blast, the Bandit XL-5 with Battery, and the BIGFOOT No. 1 XL-5 w/Battery. Expect around 6-10 minutes of run time, depending on how the car is set up and what kind of batteries you use.
A more modified motor must be geared properly in order to achieve its maximum performance. It may also eat up the battery, causing shorter run times.

Got this motor with my Traxxas Stampede back in 2003. Used it constantly for around 8 years before it finally gave out. I find it strange people say it doesn't last, maybe Traxxas quality has dropped over the years??
