Why Choose This Driveshaft
The Traxxas Center Driveshaft is a direct, drop-in upgrade that stiffens the middle of the drivetrain for better power delivery and reduced drivetrain lash. It's a straightforward way to beef up the Stampede 4x4 VXL for bashing or aggressive driving without complicated modifications.
About the Brand

Good upgrade, some issues
Solid build quality. I used this to swap out the plastic driveshaft on my Brushed Stampede 4x4 which I modified to a 2S Caste brushless. You'll need the front hub (6888X) for it to fit right. I also got the replacement bearing and aluminum bearing and adapter (6893X) to reduce driveline drag, though it's not a must for the driveshaft to work. The only issue I've had is the driveshaft and hubs it connects to have about a quarter inch of play. Folks online say it's for chassis flex, but it feels too much and annoys me with the clanking noise, like somethings loose. So, I added an O-ring to both the front and rear hubs to cut down the noise and lessen the play a bit. My steering adjustment from the servo is starting to score it while driving, you can see the marks but not hear them. I need new servo savers, not driveshaft's fault. Overall, it's still a nice upgrade. I've already got a Techno R/C dog-bone driveshaft ready for when this one wears out. I read it's better.
