Traxxas Differential Case Main with steel ring gear is a direct replacement housing for the Magnum 272 transmission. It restores the metal-gear diff mounting and uses the included side plate and screws for a straightforward swap. Internal gears are sold separately and must be installed to complete the differential.

this is def the one you want, not the cheap $3 one thats all plastic like the one youre prob replacing. this has metal gears, my older rustler had all stock plastic and this finished up my metal gear upgrade.
