More info
The Traxxas Ford 4-Tec 2.0 brings the Ford GT shape to a ready-to-run 1/10 platform with a licensed body and the hardware you want in a street car. It uses full-time AWD, a Titan 12T brushed motor, waterproof electronics, and Traxxas Stability Management for controlled acceleration on low-traction pavement.
Under the body, the 4-Tec 2.0 chassis keeps the weight low and the layout clean. You get adjustable body mounts, an adjustable battery hold-down, a sealed differential, oil-filled Ultra Shocks, and a suspension setup built around captured links and adjustable droop.
Key features
- Officially licensed Ford GT body with black chrome wheels, lug nut detail, replica brake discs, red calipers, and injection molded inserts.
- Adjustable body mounts let you move the body fore and aft or side to side for a proper fit.
- Waterproof XL-5 electronic speed control uses EZ-Set one-button setup and three drive modes: Sport, Race, and Training.
- The ESC is LiPo and NiMH compatible and uses two-stage low-voltage detection.
- Titan 12T 550 motor uses an internal cooling fan, an oversized armature, and a fixed gear mesh motor plate with 11 gearing positions.
- A molded wire retainer keeps the motor leads secured.
- Traxxas Stability Management helps with straight-line acceleration and braking on low-traction surfaces while still allowing throttle-on powerslides.
- TSM adjusts from off to 100% assistance from the transmitter.
- TQi 2.4 GHz radio system has a 2-channel transmitter, a 5-channel micro receiver with fail-safe security and integrated telemetry ports, and an optional Traxxas Link Wireless Module connection for full app functionality.
- The radio system stores settings for up to 30 Traxxas Link-enabled models and adds a programmable multi-function knob.
- The receiver box uses an O-ring seal to help keep the micro receiver dry.
- Low CG chassis places weight lower, uses a smooth underside, and adds an angled front bumper for a better approach angle.
- The chassis design also improves rigidity, tightens tolerances, and allows easier maintenance.
- Adjustable battery hold-down locks the pack in place without pins or loose parts and swivels for different battery heights.
- Direct all-wheel drive uses a full-time shaft-driven layout with an aluminum center driveshaft, one-piece steel axles, a direct drive, and a sealed silicone-filled differential.
- The drivetrain is brushless ready for a Velineon brushless power upgrade.
- Waterproof Traxxas 2075 steering servo brings high torque, with a servo saver built into the servo horn and a high steering angle option.
- High-performance suspension uses captured links, tuned geometry, dual rear camber link mounts, and adjustable droop.
- Oil-filled Ultra Shocks use X-ring technology and red powder coated shock springs with a responsive spring rate.
- Wheels and tires include black chrome split spoke wheels, long-wearing tires, wider rear tires, standard 12 mm wheel hexes, and brake calipers that can mount in forward or trailing edge positions.
- Rubber-sealed ball bearings and precision hex hardware come in the build.
- Traxxas support and parts availability back the platform.
- This model requires a battery and charger, sold separately.
