Kyosho FAZER Mk2 FZ02 Series Readyset 1969 Chevy® Camaro® Z/28 Le Mans Blue is a 1/10 scale electric on-road car. It is built on the FAZER Mk2 FZ02 platform, a new design shaft drive full-time 4WD touring chassis. Driving R/C is even more fun with the FZ02 chassis and a realistic racing car body. The Readyset package arrives fully assembled and ready to run. The box holds one 1/10 FAZER Mk2 1969 Camaro Z/28 Readyset.
The completely new chassis has a low center of gravity from its simple, functional design. An integrated gearbox optimizes the torsional rigidity of the main chassis. The nylon material reduces weight while improving impact resistance. Each key component is reinforced in this simple design, which has no upper deck.
The standard touring car chassis was given a full model makeover that evolved performance to a new level. A simplified design with fewer parts improves maintenance efficiency and reduces weight. New materials plus ribbing and stiffeners on the front and rear increase core strength and rigidity. The symmetrical chassis design gives excellent front-rear balance through the suspension, with responsive control whatever the power source.
Screws are reduced in number and variety, and frequently used screws share the same size. Most are flat head screws that a 2.0mm hex wrench removes, so disassembly is easy. The bushing material is metal. Various optional parts can further enhance performance. Replacing some parts (sold separately) adjusts the wheelbase to 260mm for compatibility with other 1/10 scale body styles.
The oil shocks are newly designed and mark an evolutionary step up from previous models. The shocks are oil-filled and rebuildable. Optimal front-rear geometry and balance deliver both light handling and precise control. Long shock ends allow a high ride height for a true scale appearance.
Handling factors such as bump steer and scrub radius are optimized on the front suspension. A simple ball-connected steering knuckle promises reliable control movement. Interchangeable front and rear left-right hub carriers optimize spare parts utilization and improve maintenance efficiency.
The car has grease-filled 2-bevel gear differentials on the front and rear, plus a slipper clutch. Full ball bearings throughout the drive system reduce drive loss. Large dog bones and cup joints deliver superior reliability and durability. The sealed differential and transmission deliver reliable performance, even on dusty parking lot surfaces.
The standard spur and pinion gear setting is 68T and 32T. Nine pinion gear settings from 29T to 37T give a wide range of gear ratio settings. The new fixed gear mesh motor mount has holes for use with each pinion gear. Mount the motor directly in the hole that matches the pinion gear. No gear mesh adjustment is necessary.
The car uses the new powerful 550 size 14T brushed motor (G14L). The long can has a steel ring around the motor case and an internal cooling fan. This setup provides efficient torque and high speeds. An installed 60A waterproof electronic speed controller handles forward, brake and reverse. Brakes are integral with the speed controller. The steering servo is a KS202W waterproof unit.
The R/C system is the 2.4GHz Syncro KT-231P+ 3-channel radio. The completed chassis has the R/C radio installed, and a receiver is part of the setup. The connector type is Deans. The belt mounting battery compartment allows various battery types to be used. Maximum battery dimensions are 5.3 x 1.8 x 0.94 in (134 mm x 45 mm x 24 mm). The car is water-resistant.
The Ultra Scale Body replicates the fine details of the actual body of the car. It arrives factory-assembled and completely finished, with its color scheme and decals applied. The Chevrolet Camaro, the signature American sports coupe, has maintained its popularity around the world. Sold from 1967 to 1969, the Z/28 was the highest specification in the first Camaro model. The body's long nose, short deck proportions and classic coke-bottle front and rear fender lines are beautifully reproduced.
Vintage Touring Car (VTC) tires and Rostyle type wheels match the vintage car style. The wheels have a chrome finish. The tire tread is on-road.

The transmitter needs 4 x AA alkaline batteries, and they are not included. A battery for the chassis is required and not included; a 7.2V Ni-MH battery is recommended. You also need a charger for the chassis battery, which is not included. Tools are required for operation too.
