The Kyosho 1:10 Scale Radio Controlled Electric Powered 4WD FAZER Mk2 FZ02 Series readyset 2020 Mercedes-AMG GT3 is a 4x4 on-road car. Built on the FAZER Mk2 platform, it arrives fully assembled and ready to run. The body is pre-painted polycarbonate.
Shipments of the 2020 model of the Mercedes AMG GT3 commenced in late 2019. The Mercedes AMG GT3 is expected to compete in major international races, including the Japan Super GT. Its distinctive, powerful aero form is realized even in this scale version. The "Ultra Scale Body" replicates the fine details of the actual car. Kyosho took a step further in scale realism.
The plastic chassis is a new design shaft drive, full-time touring chassis. Its completely new design realizes a low center of gravity with a simple, functional layout. An integrated gearbox optimizes torsional rigidity of the main chassis. Nylon material reduces weight while improving impact resistance. Each key component is reinforced in this design, which has no upper deck.
A simplified design with fewer parts improves maintenance efficiency and reduces weight. New materials, plus ribbing and stiffeners on front and rear, increase core strength and rigidity. The symmetrical chassis design synergizes excellent front-rear balance through the suspension, with responsive control, irrespective of power source. Suspension is independent.
The car uses a reduced number and variety of screws and parts. Frequently used screws are consolidated into the same size. Most screws are flat head screws that come off with a 2.0mm hex wrench for easy disassembly. Left-right hub carriers are interchangeable on both front and rear, which optimizes spare parts utilization and improves maintenance efficiency.
Handling factors such as bump steer and scrub radius are optimized on the front suspension. A simple ball-connected steering knuckle promises reliable control movement. The belt mounting battery compartment allows various battery types to be used. Sealed differential and transmission deliver reliable performance, even on dusty parking lot surfaces.
The car features a slipper clutch and 2-bevel grease-filled gear differentials on front and rear. Full ball bearings that reduce drive loss are equipped throughout the drive system. Large size dog bones and cup joints realize superior reliability and durability. The drive type is forward, brake and reverse.
Oil shocks are newly designed and mark an evolutionary step up from previous models. Optimal front-rear geometry and balance simultaneously deliver both light handling and precise control.
The standard spur and pinion gear setting is 68T and 32T. Nine pinion gear settings from 29T to 37T can be used to produce a wide range of gear ratio settings. Gear ratio is 6.54:1. The new fixed gear mesh motor mount has holes for use with each different pinion gear. Mount the motor directly in the hole that matches the pinion gear, and no gear mesh adjustment is necessary.
Power comes from the new powerful 550 size 14T brushed electric motor, the G14L. The motor's long can has a steel ring around the case. With its internal cooling fan, the motor provides efficient torque and high speeds. Original low-profile semi-slick pattern tires produce superior performance. Front and rear tires measure φ66×25mm.
A receiver, a speed control and a KS202W waterproof steering servo are installed in the chassis.

Two offset brake disc wheel hubs, 0mm and +5mm, have dummy calipers for visual styling. They provide compatibility with 190mm and 200mm body widths. Replacing some parts, sold separately, adjusts the wheelbase to 274mm for compatibility with other 1/10 scale body styles.
Front and rear light buckets are compatible with the optional 97054 LED Light unit, which is sold separately. Installing the LED light unit improves scale realism for the body shell. Performance can be further enhanced by installing various optional parts.

Tools are also needed. Recommended batteries are SPEED HOUSE 7.2V 22HV Ni-MH Battery 71322C and SPEED HOUSE 7.2V 36HV Ni-MH Battery 71324B. SPEED HOUSE C-02B AC PEAK CHARGER 72002B and 7.2V USB Charger for NiMH 72204 are the recommended chargers.
