The lcg body is def needed for the traxxas slash if youre gonna hit the track. But if you use it enough you'll have to replace it at some point. Theres 3 screw holes at the front and that's where it'll give out. I think this part should be a bit stronger bc we always end up breaking it there from regular wear n tear.
