Simple and Safe Battery
I got this battery and charger for a kid new to RC stuff. Wanted something simple and safe. NIMH batteries are pretty safe and hard to break. I was a bit skeptical, but this battery works great with a brushed motor Traxxas Bandit. Good speed and acceleration for a light 2wd. The charger is super simple, just plug it in and you're set. It does stop charging early though, so you gotta unplug and replug to top off. If you need a safe option for a small brushed system 2wd, this works. Kids 7+ can use it safely. Lasts about 15 mins.

115v Plug Choice
Watch out for teh power source! These come w/ a cig lighter adapter (I think 4A) and they look the same. But for me, the 115v plug is the better choice even tho it's slower charging. The battery lasts long enough for a fun 25 mins or so, and it's tough enough to not worry too much about your car's health and safety.
