Perfect for Scale Models
This wider 40mm Tamiya tape is just as good as their smaller ones. It's great for big surfaces you need to mask, works perfectly. Usually, I'll start with the 6mm or 10mm tape for the fine details or edges, then use this 40mm to cover the large areas. It's got the right amount of stickiness to hold but it comes off without messing up the finish underneath. So yeah, def recommend for model builders.

Essential for Model Cars
I use this tape on every model car I build, especially for masking window trims. It's thinner than regular painters tape, which is perfect for detailed masking. Make sure to keep it in a clean spot bc the edges can pick up dirt, messing up the clean lines when masking. I'd recommend cutting any tape thats not in a dispenser w/ a straight edge and hobby knife to keep those lines sharp. Seriously, if you're into fine detail work, this stuff's a must-have.
