Kyosho Mini-Z RWD MR-04 readyset Porsche 911 GT3 RS white is an authentic EP (electric) small scale R/C car. It can be driven indoors. Now the standard Mini-Z RWD model, it has a renewed 2-wheel drive chassis.
The Readyset has a factory assembled chassis and a high-quality pre-painted body with decals applied, finished to display model standard. Kyosho Readyset packages are simple: the full experience of high-performance R/C car racing is available right out of the box. Its small scale and the MR-04's easier control suit people just becoming familiar with R/C cars.
Even within the renowned 911 Series, the Rennsport (RS) name marks Porsche's strongest road-going car. The RS features special aero parts, starting with a large rear wing, to realize its unique aerodynamic form.
The MR-04 is the latest high-performance chassis. Previous Readyset packages used the 3rd generation MR-03 chassis. This RWD Readyset uses the 4th generation MR-04 chassis, first released in 2023. The MR-04 chassis is a major evolution from the previous MR-03.
This Readyset has the same standard MR-04 chassis as other high-end MR-04 models. The chassis is the MR-04N-RM. The car has a user-friendly 130-class brushed motor. The R/C system, Syncro KT-531P, is mounted on the MR-04 chassis.
The MR-04 keeps some basic elements of the MR-03 design along with its best aspects. The MR-04's lower center of gravity and remodeled steering design showed blistering speed and excellent handling. This was in the top-of-the-line EVO2 debut model. The lower center of gravity of the new MR-04 delivers significant performance improvements. High performance comes straight from the standard setup. With its dynamic maneuverability display finish, the updated MR-04 chassis takes the authentic R/C experience to a higher level.
New front knuckles with integrated kingpins reduce scrub by 1.5 mm on each side compared to the MR-03. The result is sharper and more linear control. Front suspension dynamically aligns the camber angle with movement of the upper arm to maintain optimal tire contact during cornering. A revised caster angle improves steering response.
The batteries sit lower than on the MR-03, which lowers the center of gravity of the entire chassis. This improves cornering stability and straight-line handling. The rear suspension uses a coil spring damper to cushion shocks from the road surface and improve driving stability.
The T-bar rear suspension plate holds the entire rear pod, including the motor and rear axle. Its flexibility produces excellent suspension effect. Optional parts are also available in FRP and carbon.
A geared differential delivers smooth cornering. The car has a full ball bearing specification: all axles are equipped with low rotational resistance ball bearings as standard. The same size ball bearings are used for both front and rear for spare parts efficiency. The change to 3 mm inner diameter ball bearings reduces rotational resistance.
The car comes with a 2.4GHz Syncro KT-531P transmitter, which is ultra reliable and multi-function. Its steering wheel mimics a real car's steering wheel, and the throttle (speed control) is a pistol grip.
Trims adjust the neutral position of steering and throttle, and dual rate adjustment sets the steering angle. The transmitter can operate in a training mode with reduced vehicle speed. That mode is the default setting.
The car is compatible with a wide range of Mini-Z Racer optional parts. You can tune and enhance your car up to elite-level performance. An optional gyro unit (MZW711) can be fitted for even easier control. Gyro sensitivity is adjusted using the volume on the chassis.
The rear suspension can be upgraded to an optional oil-filled shock absorber. The separately sold LED light unit set (No. MZW429R) can be installed on this car. Rear tread can be changed by changing the wheel offset.

The car needs four AAA alkaline or Ni-MH batteries, which are not included. The transmitter needs four more AAA alkaline or Ni-MH batteries, also not included.
The car is compatible with all bodies for the Mini-Z Racer series. A motor case and differential gear assembly suitable for the body are required separately.
