More info
Kyosho Mini-Z AWD NISSAN Fairlady 240ZG Maroon is a Mini size, 1/28 scale drift car. The Mini-Z AWD is available as a Readyset, which brings its dynamic performance to even more drivers. It comes fully assembled and is ready for action out of the box. The car suits drifting in small spaces. The box holds one Fairlady 240ZG Readyset.
The car and its body
The Fairlady 240ZG is equipped with the special aerodynamic nose called the 'G nose'. It made its debut in 1971. Front-rear over fenders and a rear spoiler, not included in the standard model, created a more muscular stance and appearance. As an exclusive 'Japan-only' model, the rarity of the Fairlady 240ZG ensured it was highly sought after. The Readyset has a unique scale body. The factory completed body comes with a display model quality finish.
Chassis and drivetrain
The Readyset is based on the MA-020-N chassis. The special AWD Sports chassis is based on the MA-02 chassis and features the RA45 unit. The chassis is four wheel drive with a brushed electric motor. The car drives forward, brakes and reverses, and it has gear differentials. Drift tires are installed as standard, so you can enjoy the thrill of drift driving. The chassis has a specially designed circuit board, updated with an optimized steering control program. The car has 14 precision ball bearings. The chassis has high drive efficiency. A wide range of optional parts is available to be installed.
Suspension
The front suspension features VCS (variable camber suspension), which optimizes camber change in accordance with suspension stroke. The front suspension coil spring can be easily replaced without tools. The car has strut-type rear suspension. The suspension is independent, and the shock type is coil-over shocks.
Optional gyro support
The chassis has a special mount space and a gyro adjustment volume for the optional gyro unit MZW446, which is sold separately. The gyro is adjusted by turning a small volume on the chassis. This sets the amount of steering correction in response to changes in chassis posture. Beginners through to experts can drive to their full potential with this adjustment.
Radio system and transmitter
The Readyset uses the 2.4GHz Syncro KT-531P R/C system, which requires no frequency band setting. The transmitter has a stylish design. It features steering and throttle trim and dual rate adjustment of the steering angle. The transmitter also controls the flashing speed of optional LEDs. The transmitter has a Training Mode feature that limits the speed of the car for easy learning. Training Mode is the default setting at the time of shipment. The car is equipped with a receiver, servos and a speed control.
