Awesome Upgrade
Really love this upgrade for my ERBE. I put in the lowest ratio gears for crawling and it's awesome flipping a switch to go from high to low. Lots of folks think you don't need this on a brushless, but if you lack a sensored motor, it makes slow speeds easier to manage with less noise from the motor.I'd recommend it to anyone with an ERBE, even just for having the extra option when needed.Installing it is pretty straightforward, just make sure the shift linkage is set up right. You can google for the info you need.

Perfect Gearbox
With the power of the e revo brushless, some might wonder why a low range gearbox is needed. Well, I wanted to crawl rocks and still bash and race, and this does it. I'm using a robinson racing 11T pinion with a traxxas 68T spur gear, giving me an 89:1 ratio in low. Lets my e revo crawl well on proline trencher x tires, tho not as slow as a stock summit. For switching between low and high, a 3 channel transmitter helps, but I just manually turn the servo to switch. Works great so far.
